Executive Board Officers

John is currently serving his fourth term as Township Assessor while maintaining the State of Illinois mandated certification courses required of the position. His career in assessing began in 2002 as a Field Inspector and he worked his way up to Chief Deputy Assessor of the Residential Division. He currently serves as President for the Illinois Property Assessment Institute, serves on the Board for the Illinois Assessor’s Association, and Township Officials of Illinois. John has a vast background in real estate including holding a real estate broker’s license and an electrical contractor’s license.

John is a tireless worker with a strong desire to be involved in the community in which he works and lives. John currently serves as President of the Fairfield Homeowners Association Board of Directors. He is also an active member in the local chambers of commerce, including Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, and Roselle. In 2009, John received the Ambassador of the Year Award from the Glendale Heights Chamber and in 2010 he was honored as the Business Person of the Year by the Roselle Chamber. In 2021 John received the Member of the Year from the Chicagoland Italian American Charitable Organization, better known as C.I.A.C.O. John has served multiple terms as President of the Roselle Chamber and currently sits on their Board.

He has previously served on the Bloomingdale Planning Commission, the Bloomingdale Old Town Commission, and the Bloomingdale Family Fest Committee, and he is the former Chairman of DUCAP. John was elected as Village Trustee in 1999 and re-elected in 2003 and 2007. John joined the Bloomingdale Township Republican Party in 1996 and now serves as Party Chairman.

In his spare time, John enjoys going to dinner with friends, golfing, traveling, and cooking for family and friends.
